This is a good example of what would be considered an 'Inbeltweeners' work created using 3D models.

Other InBeltweeners work will be the ones that used B4Bel templates- but those would be 2D work.

This image was first rendered in DAZ Studio using the 3D model version of BelBel then postworked in GIMP.

The postwork significantly changed the look of the image - and there was lots of airbrushing, contrast adjustments etc - to create the 2D look from the 3D image.

3D Render - 50%
Postwork - 50%
-------------------------
End Result/Effect - 100%

The end result looks more like traditional 2D anime/manga art but was created in about 2-3 hours using 3D models.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I am going to see how far I can go with this 2D look- and try it on other figures. Another way to get this look is via Cel rendering in the 3D software but once again postwork would be used to get things just right.- but it depends on the quality of the 3D render.

Looks really nice, i once tried to get a 2d result in a render following a tutorial, but i think its too much of a hassle for me, i have a thick skull when it comes to reading tutorials ._.

Thanks! I use the cartoon settings in daz and get a half decent result and then off to GIMP I go. I was thinking of trying out toon style rendering in poser 6 using the presets on BelBel and Chibibel and see what comes out of that. Trial and Error (well more Error than trial) is my best friend when it comes to such things. :)
